19 Northern Governors unveil security trust fund, appoint Agwai, Yayale Ahmed
The Northern States Governors' Forum has launched the Northern Nigeria Security Trust Fund to support security coordination and resource mobilisation across the 19 Northern states amid persistent banditry, terrorism and kidnapping. The governors also named retired General Martin Luther Agwai and Alhaji Mahmud Yayale Ahmed as co-chairmen of the fund's Board of Trustees.
