Oriire school kidnap: Makinde seeks truth, accountability through UN probe
Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has called for an independent international investigation into the abduction of pupils and teachers in Oriire Local Government Area, saying Nigerians deserve a full and transparent account of what happened. He said the probe should examine possible institutional failures while the state moves to strengthen security in vulnerable border communities.
