NIWA to Upgrade Dilapidated Jetties, Phase Out Unsafe Boats, Deepen Private Sector Collaboration
NIWA Governing Board Chairman Mukhtar Shehu Shagari says the Authority will rehabilitate dilapidated jetties, phase out unsafe boats and tighten safety enforcement while expanding private sector collaboration, following a facility tour in Lagos. The initiative targets safer, more efficient inland water transport and improved service delivery nationwide.
