TVS and Enviable sign landmark distribution partnership in Ikorodu
Thousands of Nigerians are expected to benefit from new employment and entrepreneurship opportunities following a strategic partnership between global mobility giant TVS Motor Company and Enviable Tricycle Auto Parts Ltd, aimed at expanding access to motorcycles, tricycles, financing and after-sales services across the country. The partnership, formalised in Ikorodu, Lagos, is expected to deepen TVS' presence in Nigeria while leveraging Enviable Group's extensive distribution network and grassroots reach to empower transport operators, delivery riders and small business owners.

Speaking after the signing ceremony, Chairman of Enviable Group, Chief Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, described the collaboration as a landmark development for Nigeria's mobility ecosystem. According to him, the alliance would bridge financing gaps, improve accessibility to mobility solutions and create opportunities for people at the lower end of the economic ladder.
We are bringing capacity, presence and opportunity. We are bringing seamless access to finance for people to acquire these automobiles, and we are also bringing empathy because many people at that level need guidance and support to understand how the system works.
— Chief Obinna Iyiegbu (Obi Cubana), Chairman, Enviable Group

Iyiegbu noted that while many businesses focus on sales, Enviable's model prioritises long-term sustainability for operators, describing the partnership as historic and the beginning of a new era in transportation and mobility across Nigeria and Africa.
The easiest part of anything is starting. Sustainability is the hardest part. That is why we are building relationships that will make it easier for people to operate successfully.
— Obi Cubana
The businessman disclosed that Enviable currently operates across more than 21 states and is committed to taking mobility solutions directly to communities rather than waiting for customers to come to the business, stressing that the company is selling experience and ensuring transport operators feel valued as critical contributors to Nigeria's economy.

First indigenous company to lead a distribution role once dominated by foreigners
Also speaking, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Enviable Group, Mr Chukwuemeka Enviable Ituma, said the partnership represented a significant milestone for indigenous participation in Nigeria's automotive distribution sector, noting that it is the first time a Nigerian-owned company would handle a distribution arrangement previously dominated by foreign operators.
Today marks the first time an indigenous Nigerian company is handling this package. For years, foreigners controlled this space. This time, we have decided that Nigerians will lead the process from factory operations to quality control and regional management.
— Chukwuemeka Enviable Ituma, Founder and CEO, Enviable Group
Ituma said the initiative would create employment opportunities across the entire value chain, from assembly plants and logistics to sales and maintenance services. Drawing from his personal journey as a former tricycle rider, he said the company was committed to helping unemployed Nigerians become self-reliant through flexible financing and hire-purchase schemes.
I started as a tricycle rider myself. That is why we understand the problems of operators and investors. We provide financing, vehicles, after-sales support, genuine parts and maintenance services under one roof.
— Chukwuemeka Enviable Ituma
He urged young Nigerians, including graduates, not to despise small beginnings, encouraging them to start building their future rather than waiting for government intervention.
There is always a place to start. We should not wait for government to do everything for us. Through this initiative, people can earn a living, support their families and gradually build their future.
— Chukwuemeka Enviable Ituma
