Education
Ochulor Precious, the winner of My Dream Stead School's maiden spelling bee, was rewarded with an educational tour of Abuja to engage with national leaders and institutions.

My Dream Stead School has rewarded its maiden internal Spelling Bee champion, Ochulor Precious, with an all-expense-paid educational trip to Abuja. The initiative was designed to expose young learners to the practicalities of leadership, governance, and national institutions that exist beyond the traditional classroom setting.
Precious, who serves as the school’s Senior Prefect, emerged as the winner of the inaugural internal competition. In addition to the Abuja tour, she was rewarded with a scholarship and the unique opportunity to serve as the school’s "Proprietor for a Day," a move aimed at fostering executive thinking at a young age.

A major highlight of the educational tour was Precious’ visit to the National Assembly, where she was received by Senator Ede Dafinone, representing the Delta Central Senatorial District. During the visit, the Senator engaged the young scholar in discussions regarding leadership and the future of Nigeria, emphasizing the weight of responsibility that comes with public office.
The President is making tough decisions to make the country better, and I can assure you that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the best thing that ever happened to Nigeria.

The interaction provided Precious with a firsthand look at the legislative arm of government. The experience was designed to help the champion appreciate the role of elected representatives in national development and to foster a stronger sense of civic duty and national consciousness.
The educational tour continued at the Police Service Commission, where Precious was received by Barrister Taiwo Lakanu, DIG (Rtd.), Commissioner II. She was briefed on the commission's mandate, structure, and responsibilities, providing her with practical knowledge of an institution that plays a critical role in Nigeria’s security and governance architecture.
Beyond formal government buildings, the itinerary featured visits to the Art and Craft Market, the Abuja City Gate, and an Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp. These visits, alongside stops at Ceddi Plaza and other cultural sites, were intended to provide a well-rounded perspective of the nation's social landscape and diverse realities.
The initiative is rooted in the vision of the school’s proprietor, Amb. Isaac Success Omoyele, who believes that education must prepare children for more than just academic success. His philosophy suggests that rewarding excellence should go beyond simple celebration, serving instead to challenge children to dream bigger and see the possibilities available to them.
The school acknowledged the support of Luxuriate Travels and Tours, Hadassah Dream Events, and House 575 in making the tour successful. By linking academic achievement with practical exposure, the institution seeks to nurture a new generation of professionals, entrepreneurs, and public servants capable of contributing meaningfully to Nigeria's development.
