SATH marks 30 years with a new corporate direction

Three decades after it was founded, Signal Alliance Technology Holding (SATH) says it is entering a new phase shaped by reinvention, stronger brand alignment and a deeper commitment to Africa's digital transformation journey.

The technology group marked its 30th anniversary in Lagos with the unveiling of a refreshed corporate direction, describing the moment as more than a celebration of longevity. It said the milestone signals the beginning of a new era as businesses across the continent increasingly embrace cloud computing, artificial intelligence and digital innovation.

Held under the theme, "Built for This. Ready for What's Next," the anniversary event drew business leaders, technology stakeholders, clients, partners and members of the media. Guests reflected on the company's evolution from a technology solutions provider into one of Nigeria's leading digital transformation groups.

For SATH, the anniversary served both as a review of its journey and a platform to outline how it intends to position itself in Africa's fast-evolving digital economy.

Subsidiaries rebranded under a unified identity

The centrepiece of the event was the announcement that CloudSA will now operate as SATH Cloud, while Signal Alliance Consulting has been renamed SATH Technology Consulting.

The company said the rebranding is not simply a change of name, but a strategic move to create a more unified corporate identity. According to SATH, the shift is designed to deliver greater value, accelerate innovation and strengthen customer confidence in an increasingly competitive digital marketplace.

By bringing its subsidiaries under a more cohesive brand structure, the group believes it can better align its capabilities while presenting a stronger identity to customers and partners.

Under the new structure, SATH Cloud will continue to provide cloud infrastructure, managed services and digital transformation solutions aimed at helping organisations become more agile, secure and efficient.

Leadership frames the transition as part of a longer transformation story

Chairman Collins Onuegbu described the anniversary as both a celebration of past achievements and a reaffirmation of the company's future ambitions.

Thirty years ago, we set out with a simple but ambitious goal: to help organisations unlock the power of technology. Today, we celebrate not just longevity, but the impact we have made, the relationships we have built, and the opportunities that lie ahead,

— Collins Onuegbu, Chairman, Signal Alliance Technology Holding

He said the company's growth has been driven by innovation, strategic partnerships, technical excellence and a sustained commitment to helping businesses adapt to changing realities.

Our story has always been one of transformation. We have continuously reinvented ourselves to meet the changing needs of the market, and today's announcement represents another important step in that journey,

— Collins Onuegbu, Chairman, Signal Alliance Technology Holding

The company's evolution, he suggested, reflects wider changes across Africa, where organisations are adopting digital technologies to improve efficiency, strengthen security and remain globally competitive.

Executives outline focus for cloud and consulting businesses

Busola Komolafe, Managing Director of SATH Cloud, said the new identity reflects continuity in mission even as the business adopts a new name.

While our name is changing, our commitment to helping clients leverage cloud technologies to accelerate growth and transformation remains stronger than ever. SATH Cloud reflects who we are today and where we are headed tomorrow,

— Busola Komolafe, Managing Director, SATH Cloud

SATH Technology Consulting will focus on strategic advisory services, enterprise architecture, technology strategy, business transformation and digital innovation. The company said the unit is expected to help organisations navigate increasingly complex business environments.

Kenneth Ufomba, Managing Director of SATH Technology Consulting, said the rebrand better captures the business's role in supporting clients through technology and business challenges.

The transition to SATH Technology Consulting better reflects our role as a strategic partner helping organisations navigate complex business and technology challenges. It reinforces our commitment to delivering insight-led solutions that create measurable value,

— Kenneth Ufomba, Managing Director, SATH Technology Consulting

Broader investment plans tied to Africa's digital future

Beyond the rebranding, SATH said it plans to deepen investments in emerging technologies, talent development, strategic partnerships and customer-centric innovation.

The company said these investments are intended to strengthen its competitiveness while contributing to Africa's digital transformation agenda. It believes organisations across the continent will increasingly need the right expertise and technology to thrive amid rapid disruption, cybersecurity threats and changing customer expectations.

For SATH, the 30-year milestone is therefore not only about reflecting on past achievements, but about embracing the future with renewed purpose. After helping businesses navigate technological change for three decades, the group says its next chapter will be shaped by its ability to influence Africa's digital future through innovation, partnerships and transformation.
