Official Commissioning at Waves Multimedia Studio

The Renewed Hope Podcast, a new digital platform designed to provide a forum for leaders, policymakers, professionals, entrepreneurs, creatives, and young Nigerians to discuss issues affecting the country, has been officially commissioned in Abuja. The podcast was launched at Waves Multimedia Studio as part of a broader vision to build a modern media ecosystem where ideas, creativity, and purposeful storytelling converge to promote national development.

The commissioning was performed by the Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of the Maryam Babangida National Centre for Women Development, Dr. Adedayo Benjamins-Laniyi. Her participation underscored the importance of creating platforms that amplify voices and ideas capable of contributing to national transformation. The platform is expected to serve as a bridge between various sectors of society to facilitate meaningful engagement.

Fostering Inclusive Dialogue and National Transformation

Hosted by Amb. Salis Abubakar, the newly launched podcast is expected to feature engaging conversations with personalities from diverse backgrounds, focusing on Nigeria’s development, opportunities, and future challenges. According to the organisers, the initiative was conceived to go beyond conventional interviews by creating a space for honest dialogue and positive storytelling at a time when digital media increasingly shapes how Nigerians access information.

listen, question, learn, share ideas and collectively imagine a more prosperous, inclusive and united future.

The platform aims to bring together voices from government, business, civil society, and entertainment to deepen public understanding of the country's opportunities. The presence of Dr. Benjamins-Laniyi also highlighted the potential role of the platform in promoting conversations around inclusion and empowerment, particularly for women and other groups whose contributions to national development deserve greater visibility.

Building a Modern Media Ecosystem

This development is part of a wider media project being spearheaded by co-founders Wale Ademokoya and Amb. Saheed Akanmu through Waves Multimedia. The multimedia hub is designed to accommodate several platforms, including Just U Magazine/TV, Arewa Elites, Next Gen Patriots, and The Progressive Intellects (TPi). These platforms are intended to create an integrated ecosystem that combines journalism, culture, leadership, and social-impact initiatives.

Waves Multimedia Studio, equipped with professional production tools, is positioned to host podcasts, interviews, and other forms of digital content to reach audiences beyond traditional media. With the theme "Ideas. People. Progress," the founders seek to strengthen a dedicated space for conversations they consider critical to Nigeria's progress. The organisers expressed optimism that the conversations generated will inspire constructive engagement and a deeper appreciation of the possibilities available to the country.
