A Lagos Magistrate Court has remanded 27-year-old TikToker Oladimeji Hammed, popularly known as Immunizer, over alleged cyberbullying and online harassment of Omowunmi Cynthia Aloba, widow of late singer Mohbad, after being arraigned on six counts.
TikToker Remanded Over Alleged Cyberbullying of Mohbad's Widow
A Lagos Magistrate Court sitting in Ikeja has remanded a 27-year-old TikToker, Oladimeji Hammed, popularly known as Immunizer, over alleged cyberbullying and online harassment of Mrs. Omowunmi Cynthia Aloba, widow of late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad. Hammed was arraigned on a six-count charge filed by the Commissioner of Police, accusing him of using social media platforms to publish harmful, insulting and provocative content against the 26-year-old widow. The defendant pleaded not guilty to all the charges.

Stringent Bail Conditions Imposed by the Court
Despite granting him bail, the court imposed stringent conditions, requiring two sureties who must each provide evidence of a bank account balance of at least ₦700,000. One of the sureties must be a state civil servant, while the other must be a blood relative. Both are also required to present evidence of up-to-date tax compliance. The matter was subsequently adjourned for further hearing.
Series of Alleged Posts From February Through March 2026
According to the prosecution, the alleged offences began on February 8, 2026, when Hammed reportedly published a social media post claiming that Omowunmi intended to leave Nigeria before justice was served in connection with her husband's death. The post allegedly featured her passport photograph. The prosecution further alleged that on February 11, the TikToker published another post suggesting that Omowunmi failed to deny allegations of infidelity during court proceedings.
On February 19, he was accused of sharing content alleging that private materials belonging to the widow had been leaked online. Police prosecutors also told the court that on March 14, 2026, Hammed allegedly published a video containing derogatory remarks and accusations against Omowunmi, insinuating that she was involved in a hidden agenda concerning her late husband's affairs.

According to the prosecution, between February 8 and March 14, the defendant consistently disseminated insulting, abusive and provocative communications against the widow, exposing her to public ridicule, hatred, trolling and threats. The prosecution alleged that the online attacks contributed to an incident on March 15, when Omowunmi was publicly confronted and nearly physically attacked by members of the public. The final count before the court alleges that Hammed published nude images and other harmful content intended to humiliate and bully the widow.
Omowunmi's Ongoing Struggle With Cyberbullying Since Mohbad's Death
The case has again drawn attention to the persistent online harassment faced by Omowunmi since the death of her husband on September 12, 2023. Although she has not been charged in connection with Mohbad's death, she has remained the subject of intense public scrutiny, speculation and cyberbullying across social media platforms.
Mohbad's death triggered nationwide outrage and widespread calls for justice, prompting investigations that led to criminal charges against auxiliary nurse, Feyisayo Ogedengbe, and Mohbad's friend, Ayobami Sadiq, popularly known as Spending. The duo are currently standing trial over allegations of reckless and negligent acts linked to the circumstances surrounding the singer's death. Prosecutors alleged that Ogedengbe administered an injection to the singer without proper medical authorisation, leading to complications shortly before his death, while Spending is facing charges arising from his alleged role in events preceding the incident. The proceedings against both defendants remain ongoing.
For Omowunmi, the latest prosecution underscores growing concerns over cyberbullying, online harassment and the real-life consequences of social media attacks on individuals already dealing with personal loss and sustained public scrutiny.
