The New Seraph Evangelical Ministries is set to host over half a million participants for its eighth annual spiritual programme, NODE 8.0, focusing on national revival and divine intervention.

More than 500,000 worshippers are expected to converge on The New Seraph Prayer City for the eighth edition of the Night of Divine Experience (NODE 8.0). The three-day spiritual programme, organised by The New Seraph Evangelical Ministries, is themed "Supernatural Breakthrough" and will hold from August 12 to August 14 at Km 60, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Ogun State.
Speaking during a press briefing at the Faith Mission Cherubim & Seraphim Church, the Founder of The New Seraph Evangelical Ministries, Dr. Oluwaseye Yomi-Sholoye, stated that the gathering would focus on spiritual renewal and divine intervention for Nigeria. The annual programme has continued to grow, attracting worshippers from across the country and the diaspora.

NODE 8.0 is not just a religious gathering; it is a prophetic convergence for national rebirth, spiritual revival and divine direction. We believe that as we gather to seek God, heaven will respond with healing, restoration and breakthroughs for Nigeria and beyond.

Commenting on Nigeria's current security and economic climate, Dr. Yomi-Sholoye commended the Federal Government under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for introducing measures to strengthen security operations. She noted improvements in military efforts against banditry and attacks on places of worship while urging Nigerians to remain peaceful and participate in the democratic process.
She specifically highlighted the importance of electoral integrity, calling on citizens to reject vote-buying and focus on the character of political candidates.

Citizens should register and collect their Permanent Voter Cards, reject vote-buying and support political candidates based on their character, capability and performance.

Addressing political office seekers, the cleric demanded a shift toward accountability and service-oriented leadership, noting that the season of empty promises has passed.
To political aspirants and candidates, we call for issue-based campaigns rooted in vision, accountability and service. Let your values speak louder than your promises. The season of empty promises is over. Show us your works. Be instruments of breakthrough.

To ensure the safety of the expected half-million participants, the ministry has partnered with the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies to provide crowd control, traffic management, and emergency response services. Free transportation has also been arranged, with over 350 BRT buses in Lagos and thousands of interstate buses mobilised to transport worshippers to the venue.
The three-day programme will feature a variety of spiritual and educational activities, including: - Round-the-clock prayer sessions and intercessory prayers for the nation - Bible quizzes and discipleship classes - Vocational workshops and musical ministrations - Teaching sessions led by various guest ministers
Prominent guest ministers expected at the event include Bishop STV Adegbite, Prophet Ismael Oladele Genesis, Pro. Hezekiah Oladeji, and Evang. Tope Agogo, among others.
