Ogun State Police recover stolen vehicles and arrest five burglary suspects

Recovery of Stolen and Abandoned Vehicles

Armed hoodlums reportedly abandoned a vehicle and fled into a nearby forest upon sighting police officers during a recent patrol. The truck was subsequently recovered and has since been released to its rightful owner following verification.

In a similar development, officers attached to the Atan Ijebu Division recovered an abandoned bus following credible information provided by members of the public. The vehicle has been taken into police custody as authorities wait for the rightful owner to come forward for identification and reclamation.

Arrest of Burglary Suspects in Atan Ijebu

Between July 13 and July 21, detectives at the Atan Ijebu Division intensified their efforts, resulting in the arrest of five suspects in connection with separate cases of burglary and house-breaking. The suspects have been identified as Ayomide Odufuwa, Adura Adebanjo, Samuel Sunday, Bashiru, and Muhammed.

During the arrests, police operatives recovered various items believed to be stolen property, including clothing, household items, and bedding materials. Investigations are currently ongoing to determine the full extent of the suspects' activities and to identify potential accomplices.
