A Commitment Against Infidelity

Nigerian content creators Peller and his fiancée, Jarvis, have revealed that they entered into a solemn oath to remain faithful to each other. Speaking during an appearance on The Honest Bunch Podcast, the couple discussed the depth of their commitment and the spiritual weight they have attached to their relationship.

Jarvis explained that the agreement serves as a fundamental rule of their union, suggesting that any breach of this trust would result in dire personal outcomes. She emphasized that the commitment is not merely a verbal agreement but a spiritual bond they believe is monitored by a higher power.

If you cheat, you d+e. It’s the rule of the relationship.

Addressing Allegations and Loyalty

During the interview, media personality Daddy Freeze questioned the couple on the history of their relationship and whether any infidelity had occurred. Jarvis maintained that Peller has remained faithful, while Peller himself dismissed the idea of cheating as an impossibility given his devotion to his fiancée.

Peller expressed that his focus remains entirely on his partner, reiterating that the consequences of breaking their established oath are too significant to risk. Jarvis further elaborated on what these consequences entail, noting that the impact would extend to their general well-being and success.

Things will not go well for the person. Everything will crumble because we’re in a commitment. We pray together, we commit our hearts to Jesus, and God is involved. You now go and do that? Will God just be looking at you? I will swear for you.

The Blood Covenant Proposal

The discussion also touched on the lengths to which the couple was willing to go to ensure fidelity. Peller admitted that he had initially suggested they enter into a blood covenant after being influenced by similar trends he observed on social media platforms.

He noted that his intention was to create a bond so strong that the fear of the consequences would prevent any form of betrayal. However, Jarvis rejected the idea, opting for a commitment based on their shared religious values rather than physical rituals.

I told her to let us do it. She didn’t want to do it initially. I wanted us to cut ourselves with a knife. I saw it on TikTok that people do it and there’s nothing wrong. If it’s done, nobody will cheat, and if anybody cheats, something will happen to the person. So I wanted us to do it, but she said it’s nonsense.

Faith-Based Reassurance

Clarifying their current standing, Jarvis stated that they did not go through with the blood covenant, as they believe their faith provides sufficient security for their relationship. She explained that their primary covenant is a spiritual one involving their religious beliefs.

Jarvis concluded by stating that while the consequences of their oath remain serious, the couple relies on grace and mutual love to maintain their bond. They continue to pray together to ensure their relationship remains protected from external pressures and infidelity.
