Original reporting & longreads

About Me

I write investigative features, explainers and longform pieces at the intersection of technology and society. I prefer facts to hysteria, evidence to outrage, and verification to clickbait. Occasionally things get weird — then I write about that too.

Why this blog exists

Because journalism still matters. Because policy decisions about tech shouldn't be left entirely to press releases and people-influencer-roles. Because if nobody reads slow investigations, fast nonsense wins. This blog is where I publish things that need room to breathe.

Method & ethics

I corroborate claims, publish documentation where possible and correct errors promptly. If you want to see how I source things, ask — or look for source links at the bottom of each story. If you want me to stop using bad metaphors: fair.

Want short bios or press enquiries? Scroll right and use the contact card. If you're hoping for a baby photo timeline — very cute, but not here.
